Product Return Policies:

Important: Please read the entire section below before filling out the Return Request Form.

If you wish to return an item please fill out and submit the return request form to start the process.  All returns require a Return Authorization Number (RA#).  Please fill out the RETURN REQUEST FORM to obtain an RA# (see bottom of page for the link).   Packages returned without an RA# will not be accepted!

All requests are processed within 2 business days of submission thereafter an email is sent containing an RA3 or further instruction.  Items must be returned to I Squared Inc. within ten (10) days from date the RA# is issued.  No return will be accepted thereafter without a 15% fee.

Return Guidelines:

  • Requests with incomplete or incorrect information will be denied and deleted.  You will need to fill out the Return Request Form again.
  • Shipping and Handling charges are not refundable or reimbursable by I Squared Inc. for any return. The customer is responsible for all return shipping expenses.  Items being returned should be shipped to I Squared Inc., freight prepaid (see address below).  COD shipments will not be accepted.
  • Removal of identification stickers, labels or stamps from the product itself voids all warranties. 
  • Special Order items may only be returned for a replacement of the same item.   No Returns for Credit allowed.
  • There are absolutely no Returns for Credit for the following items: optical drives(CD, DVD drives), Processors, Memory, Software and special order items.
  • Warranty Service for LCD Monitors will be handled through the manufacturer.   If you wish to return an LCD Monitor, they are only eligible for Returns For Credit.
  • Complete Systems that have defective parts will be handled as a Return For Replacement or Cross-Ship, whichever is available for the defective part only.
  • We recommend insuring the item while shipping to cover loss or damage, which can happen while being shipped.  I Squared Inc. will not replace products lost in shipping or those returned with physical damage.  To help prevent physical damage during shipping, please package all items in an anti-static container if applicable, and use proper padding, i.e. packing peanuts, bubble wrap, foam, etc.  Please use an appropriate shipping container. 
    • Hard Drives: Hard drives need to be packed in a box with 2 inches of foam or specialty hard drive packaging, otherwise the warranty will be voided.
    • Memory: Memory that has been shipped in an envelope will be refused and the warranty for the memory will be voided.
    • Do not use the item's Retail Box as the shipping container.
  • Products after 30 days from date of purchase must be returned directly to the manufacturer for warranty service unless otherwise noted in our description of the product.  For some items, it may be faster to obtain replacement service through the manufacturer.
  • Please use the RA# as the Shipping Reference number or written on the box.  Any package without the RA# displayed on the shipping package will not be accepted.

Types of Returns:

Replacement:   Products which are out of production or temporarily unavailable will be repaired by the manufacturer.  Some items will require the customer to go directly through the manufacturer warranty service.   The following conditions apply:

  • Please fill out the Return Request Form and select "Replacement".
  • I Squared Inc. will cover UPS Ground Shipping costs to ship the replacement/repaired item to the customer.  Depending on current availability, type of product, and type of return, total turn-around time can take up to 6 weeks or longer.
  • AMD OEM processors usually take 5-6 weeks turn around time.
  • We test all items being returned for replacement for the described problems.  If the item tests ok, the customer will be charged a test fee and shipping costs.  The item will be returned to the customer.

Cross-Ship Replacement: Cross-Ship Replacements are not available for all products.  A Cross-Ship, or advanced replacement, is where I Squared Inc. will ship a replacement product to the customer before receiving the item being returned from the customer.  The following conditions apply:

  • Please fill out the Return Request Form and select "Cross-Ship" and shipping.
  • Cross-Ship Replacements are only available within the first 20 days starting on the date of purchase.
  • If the item for the Cross-Ship is elligible, the request will be processed and a replacement item will be shipped.  If the item for the Cross-Ship is not eligible, the request will be processed as Return Type: Replacement.
  • The customer is responsible for all shipping charges for a Cross-Ship Replacement.  As a matter of procedure the customer's credit card will be "Book Charged" for the amount of the replacement product.  A "Book Charge" allows I Squared Inc. to obtain an approval for the amount of the replacement item, but not settle on the funds.  If the item being returned is not received within 10 days from the date the RA# is issued, the "Book Charge" will be converted to a "Sale" and the funds will be collected by I Squared Inc.  Upon receiving the return item within 10 business days, I Squared Inc. will void the "Book Charge" amount.

Credit: A Return Type Credit is only available within the first 20 days starting on the date of purchase.  Return Type Credit is for items being returned for in-store-credits, refunds, and exchanges for different items.  Please see exceptions noted in Return Guidelines above.

  • Please fill out the Return Request Form and select "Credit".
  • All Credit Returns are subject to a 15% or $20 restock fee, whichever is greater.  For less expensive items (less than $60) we can arrange an apropriate restock fee, usually 15%.
  • All items returned for credit must be in an "as new" condition, in original packaging and with all warranty cards, manuals and accessories.  Any discrepancies will result in a delay and partial forfeiture of your refund, in addition to the restock fee.
